CAN BusOff error in case of frequent NMT reset node / reset com (eliminated from V5.0 onwards)

StateLine / HighLine with firmware version V05.01 or higher

No error response if the above-mentioned telegrams are frequently transmitted.

Which products are affected?
8400 StateLine / HighLine with FW < 05.01

What happens?
The controller mistakenly detects a BusOff status for 1 ms and may generate an error message.

When does the problem occur?
If an NMT telegram, a reset node or reset communication are received in quick succession.

Possible diagnostics?
Display CE04 BusOff

Short-term measures / recommendations?
Configure the BusOff error message as Off or Warning (C00592/2).
Do not subject the bus to NMT telegrams, reset node or reset communication in quick succession.

Evaluation:
The error can be avoided if the recommendations are followed. The transmission of the above-mentioned telegrams in short cycles is not wise and very rare.
