If the response to software limit positions is set to Warning, the drive will not stop when it reaches the software limit positions in the SpeedFollower operating mode.

Although the response to software limit positions is set to Warning, the drive stops when it overtravels the software limit positions.

In the SpeedFollower operating mode and if software limit positions are used.

The drive stops when it overtravels the software limit positions although the response has been set to Warning.

Evaluation:
In devices with firmware version V4.0, the drive stopped. In devices with firmware version V05.01 and under the same setting, the drive continues to traverse.
Error which may result in damage to the machine.
Generally, none of the monitoring functions in the controller are suitable for the protection of persons.
