Homing mode 12 / 13 (Homing to hardware limit switch) reference detection (eliminated from V5.0 onwards)

Eliminated from:
HighLine with firmware version V05.01 or higher

Behaviour of the new version?
Limit switch evaluation in Homing mode 12 / 13 is edge-sensitive.
The limit switch must not be activated when the homing process is started. Otherwise a limit switch error will be activated.

Which products are affected?
8400 HighLine with FW < 05.01

What happens?
Non-repeatable home positions during homing processes when the flag of the limit switch was extended and the homing process was started at different positions on the limit switch. The reference was set immediately.

When does the problem occur?
At the start of the homing process in the corresponding mode while the reference limit switch is activated.

Possible diagnostics?
Check the position after performing a homing process.

Short-term measures / recommendations?
Start the homing process when the limit switch is enabled or retract the drive from the limit switch before the homing process is started.

Evaluation:
The reference is set immediately when the homing process is started and if the limit switch has been activated. The resulting inaccuracies in positioning are detected during commissioning.
