Use of shielded cables for safety module required (elimination)
Eliminated from: SM301 V1.4
Behaviour of the new version? From SM301 V1.4 onwards it is no longer required to use shielded cables in case of sensor cables which are longer than 3 m.
Which products are affected? SM301 V1.0 – SM301 V1.3
What happens? The SM301 can now be wired with individual cables.
When does the problem occur? If the overall cable length of the shielded sensors exceeded 3 m shielded cables had to be used up to now.
Evaluation: The SM301 can now be wired much easier and cheaper.
