The so-called inverter error characteristic for the optimisation of the inverter switching performance can be determined automatically via the C00002 = '71: Determine inverter characteristic' device command. If the inverter error characteristic is to be determined and the device power is much higher than the motor power connected, the determined inverter error characteristic may exceed internal limits and cannot be used because the motor could only be operated insufficiently or not at all. So far the exceedance of internal limits has not been reported as an error when determining the inverter error characteristic, and the user has had no way of knowing that he was not allowed to use the determined inverter error characteristic.
If an inverter error characteristic is determined and internal limits are exceeded, it will be displayed in C00003 now via the status of the device command for the user to see. In this case the value 4692789 = 'Determined inverter error characteristic exceeds internal limits' would be displayed in C00003. If the determination of the inverter error characteristic fails, a device-typical characteristic can be loaded via the C00002 = '70: Load Lenze inverter characteristic' which can be used for the operation of the motor.
