Function description
By means of a PDO mapping the meaning of the individual user data words and/or user data double words of the T/RPDO can be set directly at the CANopen communication module via the CANopen master.
Applications
Most CANopen masters demand a dynamic PDO mapping from the CANopen slave. The CANopen master reads from the device description (EDS file) which variables can be mapped. The corresponding EDS file (2178IB20.eds) is provided in the download area on the Lenze home page.
