Which products are affected?
ESP-HMI1-P (HMI Designer V1.7)
What happens?
Although the event to start an 'Automatic operation' has occurred, the direct command which is to be started by the 'Automatic operation', is not executed.
When does the problem occur?
The response described above occurs if a direct command is started and another direct command is started before the first command has been completed. The second direct command is not executed.
If the second direct command is started by an 'Automatic operation', the 'Automatic operation' is completed with starting the direct command. The 'Automatic operation' does not realize that the direct command could not be executed by the keypad. As a result, the direct command is not started again.
Possible diagnostics?
None.
Short-term measures/recommendations?
- Ensure that more than one direct command is never executed at the same time.
- Do not execute a direct command by an 'Automatic operation'.
Evaluation:
A direct command, which is started while another direct command is carried out, is not executed. The processing time of direct commands is extremely short. Therefore, the function restriction usually occurs in combination with the start of direct commands by 'Automatic operations'.
