Function description
The Profinet station name serves as an unambiguous addressing of the station in the Profinet network. According to the PNO specification, it must be possible that this station name may also be assigned via the Profinet network. This required that the name had to be saved not only on the memory module but also locally on the module since otherwise this assigned name may not be available anymore if the parameter sets are not stored before the mains of the standard device is switched.
Applications
This function is only available if the Profinet station name is assigned via the Profinet network. If the station name is assigned via the code by the Engineer software, the parameter set must be saved.
