NMT in response to remote request is only suppressed in case of the master (elimination)

Which products are affected?
EPL-10200 (Drive PLC V8.1)

Eliminated function restriction:
The Drive PLC V8.1 does not return a telegram in response to a remote request with identifier 0.
 
Which products are affected? 
EPL-10200 (Drive PLC V6.0)

What happens?
In response to a remote request with identifier 0 the controller returns a NMT (Network Managment Telegram) containing the following data 0xFF 0xFF.

When does the problem occur?
If the controller is configured as master the response to a remote request with Id 0 is suppressed.

Possible diagnostics?
CAN analysis.

Short-term measures/recommendations?
None.

Evaluation:
The NMT containing data like 0xFF 0xFF is not defined in CAN Open. Devices which are CAN Open conform reject this telegram.
