How can in GDC a signal flow be monitored simply and online without switching from one function block view to another?
Answer:
In the GDC you can open several windows with the function block editor. Proceed as follows:
Log in the desired drive with GDC and load the parameter data in GDC.
Start the function block editor.
Open a second (third ... etc.) window of the function block editor by means of menu FB-Editor => New window and represent a function block in the desired signal flow in each window.
Tip:
The font height can also be modified in the function block editor:
Start the function block editor.
Modify the font / font height by means of menu FB-Editor => Font as desired.
Close any window of the function block editor and restart it, since the new settings will only become effective with the next start.
