Remedied from:
ECSxP Posi&Shaft V1.3 onwards
Behaviour of the new version?
The application history buffer works fault-free now and can therefore be reset correctly. Regarding this, the following actions are applied:
- the previous fault messages under C4168/x are shifted by one position,
- the older status information is dropped,
- the latest pending fault is entered under C4168/2 and
- there is no active fault under the first position of C4168/1.
Which products are affected?
ECSxP Posi&Shaft <=V1.2
What happens?
The current fault displayed under C4168/1 is not reset after resetting the fault. As a result, the history buffer is not updated either. The history is not updated until the next fault occurs.
Moreover, the data saved in the history buffer is not correct.
C4168/2..5: The first digit of the fault number is always 0, i. e. the information concerning the fault response (trip, warning, …) is missing.
C4169/2..5: The point of time when the fault message occurred last is not entered correctly.
When does the problem occur?
Continuously.
Possible diagnostics?
After a fault reset the current fault is indicated under C4168/1. However, the drive can be operated as usual.
Short-term measures/recommendations?
None.
Evaluation:
It may lead to some confusion that a fault is indicated erroneously but the functioning of the drive is not affected directly.
