What happens?
Connection to the modem cannot be created (the modem does not react). After a short while the error message 678 is displayed. The LEDs at the modem show this status as follows:
M (yellow) lights up 5x short break (during the break P (green LED) lights up 5x)
E (red) shines
R (green) shines
P (green) lights up 5x short break (during the break M (yellow LED) lights up 5x)
When does the problem occur?
The problem occurs when in code L-C1215 a value ≥ 1200 ms has been entered (permitted value range: 0 - 60000 ms).
Possible diagnostics?
The function restriction can immediately be detected by the signalling of the LEDs.
Short-term measures / recommendations?
If the code L-C1215 is parameterized to a value < 1200 ms (then mains connection), the above-described function restriction will not occur.
Evaluation:
The function restriction can generally be detected during commissioning already. If later the code is parameterized to a value ≥ 1200 ms, the remote maintenance functionality is not ensured anymore. The function restriction has, however, no consequences on the active CAN bus system.
