Description
The
HMI Designer is the powerful development environment for Lenze keypads, which are also called HMIs (Human Machine Interfaces).
Information about fault eliminations can be taken from the
difference description.
System requirements
• Microsoft® Windows® 95 / 98 / ME, Windows 2000, Windows NT® 4.0 (from Service Pack 3) or Windows XP
• IBM-compatible PC (≥ Pentium 166 MHz)
• 32 MB RAM
• 100 MB free capacity available on your hard disk
• VGA graphic card
• Pointer (mouse, trackball etc.)
• Free serial interface for the communication with the operating unit
• Installation of the
HMI Designer V1.6 or
HMI Designer V1.6 SP1
Software installation
Install the Service Pack 2 of the HMI Designer V1.6 as follows:
1. Unpack the ZIP-file
HmiDesigner_V16_SP2.ZIP on your PC.
2. If the HMI Designer is started, please close it.
3. Start the program
setup(ServicePack2_HMI16).EXE and follow the installation instructions.
Remark:
If you have an older design of the
HMI Designer, please execute an update to
HMI Designer V1.6 before you start this update. Regarding this matter following articles are available in the Application Knowledge Base:
