Analog signal

Signal whose information parameter can take any values within technical limitations. In theory, analog signals have an unlimited resolution. In practice, however, the resolution is limited to a range of max. 1:104. Moreover, long-life-memory as well as the computing of many sizes cause problems. Therefore, in the modern automation technology a Digital signal is used.
