What happens?
The Status area (project component Exchange areas) contains information about the operating status of the keypad, e. g. the number of the operating page displayed. The project component Device memory areas determines how and to which CAN station connected the status area is transmitted.
The status area of the keypad is transmitted incorrectly.
When does the problem occur?
The status area is transmitted incorrectly if a process data channel has been selected in the project component Device memory areas to transmit the status area.
Possible diagnostics?
None.
Short-term measures/recommendations?
Use a parameter channel to transmit the status area of the keypad.
Evaluation:
A useful evaluation of the status area can only be executed by PLC target systems, e. g. the Servo PLC. The status area is generally transmitted in the parameter channel and not in the process data channel since the information to be transmitted is not time-critical. Therefore, this function restriction will not occur very often.
