H410 keypad does not respond after a project download (elimination)

ESP-HMI1-P with SP1 (HMI Designer Version 1.6 with Service Pack 1)
EPM-H410 (Graphical display unit with input keys)

Eliminated function restrictions:

After a project download the project is stared by the H410 keypad but it does not respond as programmed. The three LEDs Bus Error, Power and Battery indicate the corresponding keypad status.
