The system bus configuration tool only works with a baud rate of 500 kBaud:
When does the problem occur?
The problem occurs if the system bus configuration tool should work with another baud rate than 500 kBaud. The set baud rate is not accepted, and the system bus configuration tool works with 500 kBaud, although this differs from the set baud rate.
Possible diagnostics?
If the system bus configuration tool works with another baud rate than 500 kBaud and if a communication to the system bus cannot be established, the faulty behaviour described before occurs.
Short-term measures/recommendations?
Update to the current DriveServer Version 1.1
Evaluation:
Since this error immediately occurs when setting another baud rate than 500 kBaud (initial commissioning phase), situations which may be considered as critical for the system can normally not occur.
The system bus server is also used by Lenze PC software tools, which are applied for diagnostics purposes of the application. Mainly the Lenze software tools Global Drive Control 'GDC' and Global Drive Oscilloscope 'GDO' are concerned. If these software tools are supposed to be applied to a running application with CAN network for diagnostics purposes, a baud rate, which is not set to 500 kBaud, makes crash the system bus and consequently the application.
