What happens?
In positioning mode 'Absolute positioning with saving' (C1210 = 2) the controller always initialised with home position known (REF-OK = 1), even if no homing had taken place yet.
When does the problem occur?
After the first mains connection during the initial commissioning procedure.
Possible diagnostics?
Request status REF-OK at the control end.
Short-term measures/recommendations?
During the initial commissioning procedure and after any faults in which the homing position lost, perform a homing from the control end.
Evaluation:
Normally a homing can be started from the control end if required.
