Integration of Brake Energy Management to Reduce the DC link Voltage
Functional Enhancement:
Reduction of the DC link voltage through the implementation of braking energy management when F3E is deactivated. A possible cause for F3E deactivation is a voltage dip followed by an overshoot in the mains voltage, which causes an increase in the DC link voltage.The increased DC link voltage can now be reduced using the“Inverter-Motor-Brake” functionality, allowing F3E to become active again.
