Functional Enhancement:
The current PROFINET device description (GSDML) for the i950 has been modified. The process image has been changed from the i950’s native DWORD structure (1 to 16 DWORDs) to a 9400-compatible WORD structure (1 to 32 WORDs). This allows users to retain their familiar configuration—for example, 17 WORDs—in the TIA project without having to modify the PLC program.
