FAST_System_Configuration' object

The new object 'FAST_System_Configuration' in the device tree of a PLC Designer project has two tasks:
  • Designation of the customer target groups for optimised output of messages and errors to the respective user, which are displayed both in the logbook of the PLC Designer and in the diagnostic visualisation of the controller.
  • Open the controller logbook when logged in with the PLC Designer.

Application:
As part of the further development of the FAST Toolbox into the FAST Machine Framework, error management was improved by an extension in the logbook:
  • additional information about the messages and the errors
  • New target groups for differentiating the various users of the logbook during machine operation (operators, setters, maintenance personnel, experts, ...)
Application-specific error messages can be triggered from the PLC application with blocks from the 'L_IE1P_ApplicationErrors' library. Each error message can be assigned to one of 5 customer target groups. The controller logbook can be filtered according to these customer target groups. Since the customer target groups are application-specific, the programmer can define them in the 'FAST_System_Configuration' object. The assignment of the customer target group to the PLC project is then as follows:
Customer target group with ID 1 corresponds to the eGroup 'L_IE1P.L_IE1P_Group.UserGroup1'
