Response of the new version:
The OPC/UA server returns the correct endpoint URL.
What happens?
The OPC/UA server returns an incorrect endpoint URL.
When does the behaviour occur?
The behaviour occurs when an OPC/UA client is used to "browse" the OPC/UA server of the controller. In this case, the OPC/UA server returns an incorrect endpoint URL, e.g.:
opc.tcp://WindowsCE:4840
instead of
opc.tcp://172.31.207.45:4840
as in previous versions.
The 'DeviceName' defined in code 13 and not the IP address becomes part of the endpoint URL.
Which products are affected?
Cabinet Controller c300 as of V3.20
Cabinet Controller 3200C as of V3.20
Panel Controller p300 from V3.20
Panel Controller p500 from V3.20
Short-term measures:
Use an older firmware version or set the IP address of the unit as DeviceName in code 13. Alternatively, you can also manually adjust the endpoint URL in your OPC/UA client afterwards.
Evaluation / recommendations:
When browsing the OPC/UA server of the Lenze controller with an OPC/UA client, an incorrect endpoint URL is returned. Under 'Short-term measures' applicative solutions are described.
