IP address is not taken over after firmware update (restore)

Behavior of the new version:
-

What happens?
The IP address defined in the IP.TXT file on the SD card of the controller is not adopted when the controller is switched on.

When does the behaviour occur?
The controller cannot adopt the IP address from the IP.TXT file if there is already a device with the IP address 192.168.5.99 in the network and the firmware of the controller was previously updated with the firmware file (InitRestore) provided by Lenze. This is independent of which IP address was saved in the IP.TXT file.

Which products are affected?
Cabinet Controller c300 from V3.18
Panel Controller p300 from V3.18

Short-term measures:
  • Save the IP.TXT file with the new IP address to the SD card of the controller again and perform another mains switch of the controller. This takes over the IP address.
  • Make sure that no other device with the IP address 192.168.5.99 is in the network when updating the firmware of the controller (e.g. through a point-to-point connection).
Evaluation/Recommendations:
After updating the firmware of the controller by restoring a firmware file provided by Lenze, the controller has the IP address 192.168.5.99. If there is another device with this IP address in the network, the updated controller cannot adopt the desired IP address from the IP.TXT file.
