Behaviour of new version:
The device does not restart several times. The start time is therefore not extended.
The start-up screen appears repeatedly. The device repeatedly restarts automatically.
As a result, the start-up procedure of the device may be extended and take up to 3 minutes.
When does this behaviour occur?
The behaviour occurs when switching on the p300 panel controller.
Which products are affected?
p300 panel controllers with WEC7 Professional operating system (from firmware V3.13.0.85).
The affected operating system version can be identified by coding 'D' in the type code on the nameplate (P30GAP*0300F3G*XXX-02S3D31*000).
Short-term measures:
The above function restriction does not occur if the p300 is connected to the Ethernet.
If there is no Ethernet connection, a short Ethenet cable between the Ethernet and the EtherCAT socket of the p300 can optimise the start-up behaviour.
