Functional description
With regard to SSI encoders, no reliable open circuit monitoring can be implemented on the hardware side.
Via C1112/4, the position difference of two position values that have been sent directly in succession can be defined by the SSI encoder. If this value is set shortly above the theoretically possible position change with the parameters of the movement, this plausibility monitoring function can be used to detect the majority of potential encoder errors. If the unit value in C1112/4 is exceeded, an error at bfail is tripped.
