Response of the new version?
Independently of the optical tracking, the user LED outputs the status that is also defined in the Engineer function block editor.
Which products are affected?
8400 TopLine with a firmware version lower than 15.01.00.00.
What happens?
During the optical tracking, the information that was pending before the start of tracking is output at the user LED. It is only updated again upon completion of the optical tracking.
When does the problem occur?
The user LED outputs the status that is also defined in the function block editor. However, this is not the case while the optical tracking function is activated. During the optical tracking, the status of the user LED is frozen.
Diagnostics options?
Change the status of the user LED during the optical tracking. With the devices affected, the correct LED status is only output after the optical tracking has been completed.

Evaluation:
In most cases, nothing of importance depends on the display of the user LED and optical tracking is typically only executed for a few seconds.
