Behaviour of the new version?
The evaluation of the speed recorded has been delayed, i.e. after switching on the drive controller it is waited for 40 ms before the speed recorded is also used for the monitoring function as described.
What happens?
When the device is switched on, the follow-up control of the resolver requires a certain time for the transient phenomenon. The transient phenomenon itself is already evaluated as resolver speed and causes incorrect activation of the monitoring function in C00576 'Speed monitoring tolerance' and the error response set in C00579 'Speed monitoring response' (although the motor is at standstill). The problem is restricted to machines which include resolvers. The error cannot occur if an encoder is used.
When does the problem occur?
The problem occurs when switching on the drive controller.
