Behaviour of the new version?
In the SpeedFollower operating mode, parameter C01219 / Bit3 can now be used to set a response if software limit positions are overtravelled.

8400 HighLine with FW < 05.01
What happens?
Set software limit positions are overtravelled.
When does the problem occur?
The software limit positions cannot be activated via C01219 / Bit3. The setting for the software limit positions in the PosFollower operating mode is also effective in the SpeedFollower operating mode.
Possible diagnostics?
Sometimes software limit positions are not evaluated in the SpeedFollower operating mode.

Error which may result in damage to the machine.
Generally, none of the monitoring functions in the controller are suitable for the protection of persons.
