Restricted motor phase failure detection in the field weakening range (remedied from SL:V3.0 HL:V2.0 onwards)

Remedied from:
8400 StateLine  SW V3.00 onwards
8400 HighLine   SW V2.00 onwards

Behaviour of the new version?
The above-named software version rectifies this functional restriction.

Which products are affected?
8400 StateLine  SW ≤ V2.00
8400 HighLine   SW ≤ V1.00

What happens?
During operation in the field weakening range a motor phase failure is not detected without adapting the threshold (L-C00599). Moreover, the warning signal could toggle when the 'Warning' error response (L-C00597 = 5) is set and a motor phase failure occurred. As a result, the logbook entry is counted up.

When does the problem occur?
The problem occurs if during operation in the field weakening range the threshold for the motor phase failure detection (L-C00599) is set to default or lower or if the error response is set to 'Warning' (L-C00597 = 5).

Possible diagnostics?
Metrological check of the motor cable and motor winding

Short-term measures/recommendations?
During operation in the field weakening range, increase the threshold for the motor phase failure detection (L-C00599) by approx. factor 3 or set the motor phase failure detection to 'Fault' (L-C00597=1) only.

Evaluation:
This function restriction can be eliminated by applying the recommendations mentioned before.
