What happens?
When devices are searched for in the L-force Loader a debug error is generated.
If the <Connect> button is pressed in the DriveServer Configurator the following error message is indicated:
LDS.EXE Application Error (Memory could not be read)
When does the problem occur?
The response described above occurs if the L-force Loader and together with it the Drive Server are installed on WINDOWS 2000 (Service Packs included) or WINDOWS XP SP1.

None.
Short-term measures/recommendations?
This function restriction is eliminated with L-force Loader V4.2.
The L-force Loader V4.2 can be used without generating a debug error under WINDOWS 2000 and WINDOWS XP SP1.
Evaluation:
The L-force Loader V4.0 cannot be used on the PC operating systems WINDOWS 2000 and WINDOWS XP SP1. With L-force Loader V4.2 this function restriction is eliminated.
