Behaviour of the new version
The host name only has a symbolic character and no influence on the EPL communication. The host name is now saved and loaded correctly.

What happens?
The host name assigned under parameter C13045 or C14045 has not always been saved correctly. As a result, the default host name has been reloaded when the controller/module has been restarted.
When does the problem occur?
The problem occurs if an own host name has been assigned for the EPL node under parameter C13045 / C14045.
Possible diagnostics?
The behaviour described before has occurred if an own host name has been assigned but the default host name is indicated under parameter C13045 / C14045 after mains switching of the controller or module.
Short-term measures/recommendations?
None.
Evaluation:
The host name only has a symbolic character and no influence on the EPL communication. As of firmware version 1.05 the host name is now saved and loaded correctly.
