System messages with Cyrillic characters are not indicated

Which products are affected?
ESP-HMI1-P (HMI Designer V1.7)

What happens?
In the system messages dialog (menu item: Configuration>System messages…) the system messages of the keypad can be edited and translated.

In order to translate system messages e.g. to Russian the HMI Designer includes two font types (CYRWIN6X8 and RUSS6) which contain Cyrillic characters. When these two font types are used the HMI Designer displays Cyrillic characters in the system messages. If an HMI project has been downloaded to the keypad, Cyrillic characters are no longer indicated in the system messages. As a result, the system messages cannot be read.

When does the problem occur?
The function restriction occurs with all keypads equipped with graphics capability.

Possible diagnostics?
None.

Short-term measures/recommendations?
None.

Evaluation:
The system messages of keypads with graphics capability cannot be indicated with Cyrillic characters. The keypads are equipped with up to 10 system messages concerning recipe function, password management and communication problems.
