The AIF_wControl system variable does not work (eliminated from SPLC V8.0 and DPLC V8.3)

Which products are affected?
EVS93xx-EI (Servo PLC V8.0)
EVS93xx-ET (Servo PLC V8.0 with technology function)
EPL-10200 (Drive PLC V8.3)

Eliminated function restriction:
An extended set of commands can be sent to the AIF module via bits 8...15 of the AIF_wControl system variable (AIF_IO_Management system block).

Which products are affected?
EPL-10200 EI (Drive PLC <= V8.1)
EPL-10200 ET (Drive PLC with technology function) <= V8.1
EVS93xx-EI (Servo PLC <=V7.2)
EVS93xx-ET (Servo PLC with technology function) <= V7.2

What happens?
The AIF_wControl system variable (AIF_IO_Management system block) can be used to send a command to the AIF module.

When does the problem occur?
The reaction described above occurs when using the AIF_wControl system variable.

Diagnostics options?
None

Short-term measures/recommendations?
Use code C2120 to send commands to the AIF module, e. g. using the L_ParWrite function block.

Evaluation:
The functional restriction occurs whenever the AIF_wControl system variable is used to send commands from a PLC program to the AIF module, e. g. EMF2175IB. The functional restriction is detected at the latest during commissioning.
