What happens?
The 'POS-ABS-VAL' output signal of the POS function block is not reset together with the actual position value POS-ACTPOS after homing or when the home position has been set.
Note: 'POS-ABS-VAL' is equal to the actual position value POS-ACTPOS but without consideration of the offset (C1225, C1227) and polarities (C1206, C1208).
When does the problem occur?
The problem occurs after homing or when the home position has been set.

POS-ACTPOS differs from POS-ABS-VAL after homing or when the home position has been set.
Short-term measures/recommendations?
The POS-ABS-VAL can be reset correctly by means of the 'Setting the actual position value' function via POS-ABS-SET and POS-ABS-IN = 0. Afterwards, POS-ACTPOS and POS-ABS-VAL differ correctly by the home position (C1227) and reference measuring offset (C1225).
Evaluation:
The POS-ABS- VAL output can only be used restrictedly under consideration of the remedial measure mentioned.
