Behaviour of the new version?
The GDC program is no longer aborted after the 'Reading parameter from drive' process.

GDC 4.7, GDC 4.7 Update or GDC 4.7 easy
What happens?
After the 'Reading parameter from drive' process the parameter setting software is closed by indicating the message 'gdc32.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close' (generated by the WINDOWS control system).
When does the problem occur?
If the resolution of the monitor has been changed (between the last closure and reopening process of the GDC program) the problem described before may occur since GDC Version 4.7 saves the settings with regard to the windows size and position when being closed.
Possible diagnostics?
The error described above may occur sporadically when changing the monitor resolution between the last closure and reopening of the GDC program.
Short-term measures/recommendations?
The following range (containing the saved data concerning the windows size and position) must be deleted from the GDC32.INI file (C:\Programs\Lenze\GDC_4_70\BIN). In order to accept the new settings GDC is to be restarted after saving the changed GDC32.INI file.
