EER trip: Faulty activation immediately after mains connection

Which products are affected?
9300 vector 0.37…90 kW SW ≤ V6.3

What happens?
An EER trip occurs immediately after mains connection. The drive controller has not yet been enabled at that point of time.

When does the problem occur?
The user has linked the MONIT-OU signal to DCTRL-TRIP-SET. During the initialisation phase of the drive controller the OU message is erroneously activated directly after mains connection.

Possible diagnostics?
  • Determination of the DC-bus voltage at the ± UG terminals in order to ensure that there is no overvoltage in the DC bus which would activate the error on purpose.
  • Checking the function block interconnection with regard to MONIT-OU and DCTRL-TRIP-SET.

Short-term measures/recommendations?
None.

Evaluation:
The error usually occurs immediately during commissioning.
