Improved performance of the S7 bus server and Siemens S7 PLC function modules

Function description
By means of SP1 a new version of the S7 function blocks for the Siemens PLC and a new version of the S7 bus server have been installed. Compared to the previous function blocks these new blocks and the S7 bus server have an improved performance and a low PLC cycle time load. With regard to its functions the new blocks are completely compatible with the previous ones. The current function block versions are listed in the table below.
  • FB90, FB91: 3.1
  • FC90, FC91, FC92: 1.2
  • FC93, FC94: 1.3
