Which products are affected?
Function restriction eliminated on the 9300EP servo positioning controller as of versions V2.5 and V6.1.
Eliminated function restriction
Error message P17 was incorrectly triggered whenever in the DFSET block the configuration was with zero pulse synchronisation.
P17 is now only triggered if the same TP really is used by the DFSET function and e.g. TP positioning is used simultaneously.
Possible diagnostics?
Reproduce the above-mentioned condition.
Short-term measures/recommendations?
Eliminate P17 fault under C1289/1.
Evaluation:
Uncritical because fault response can be deactivated and in the application a TP input cannot be used simultaneously for two functions anyway.
