COM ports, which ones are supported by GDC?

Question:

Which COM ports are supported by the Lenze parameter setting software GDC (Global Drive Control) and GDC Easy?

Answer:

Up to version 4.4 included the ports COM1 to COM4 are supported by GDC. From software version 4.5 on the COM ports 1-9 are supported. The selection is made in menu 'Options => Lecom A/B => Parameters'.
