Functional description
The new device command C2/24 "Set Hiperface position" provides the user with the possibility of writing a desired position to a connected Hiperface encoder.
Code C499/1 "Hiperface: Advanced settings" contains different options (bits 1-3) to influence the setting of the position.
Like this, for instance in the case of a synchronous machine, also the pole position can be considered automatically when the encoder position is set.
By setting the encoder position, it can for example be achieved that the measuring system of the encoder has no offset to the machine measuring system. The raw position value can be used directly in the MCK. A replacement of the inverter does not require a new homing process.
