PROFIBUS function blocks and libraries for replacing Global Drive and L-force inverters

FFunctional Extension:

'L_ICIP' library for replacing Global Drive and L-force products (8200vector, 9300, 8400, 9400) with the i950 in PROFIBUS networks.

Modules:

Included in the following products:

• i950 A servo drive, firmware version V01.15.00 or later (planned)
• i950B, Cservo inverters, firmware version V02.00.03  

Prerequisite:

• PLC Designer V4.1 or higher
• i950 with PROFIBUS communication module
• SD card with at least 250 application credits

Application:

The library simplifies programming the i950 to emulate Global Drive and L-force products in PROFIBUS networks.

This feature is required for retrofits and, in the case of simple follow-up or positioning applications, allows the drive to be replaced with an i950 without modifying the PLC control program.
