Digital encoders with an EnDat 3 interface can be used as motor encoders.
These encoders are used in conjunction with One Cable Technology (OCT). Like the HIPERFACE DSL encoders, they are connected via terminal X109, not via a feedback module in Slot A.
After selecting the interface function via parameter0x2DE1:001 = EnDat 3 [11], a firmware restart is required to activate the evaluation.
0x2C4C:1...29 are thediagnostic parameters for these EnDat 3 encoders.
Using the function at 0x2C4C:25...27, customer-specific data can be read from the encoder.
