The 'PLC Designer Installer' manages the local installations of various PLC Designer versions and supports you in installing, updating, and starting them.
Lenze provides the setups for PLC Designer versions and updates for add-ons on the Lenze Deployment Server, which the 'PLC Designer Installer' can access automatically. Add-ons are software modules that extend the functionality of PLC Designer and can be updated independently of each other and of the PLC Designer version, e.g. the Lenze Parameter Editor or CODESYS CFC.
The 'PLC Designer Installer' is installed together with PLC Designer V4 (from V4.1) and can be accessed via EASY Navigator or from PLC Designer (menu 'Tools').
