i950 - Hiperface-DSL (OCT): Serial number is not correctly included in checksum (CRC) (fixed as of V01.11.00)

Removed from:
Servo inverter i950 FW:  from V01.11.00
Behavior of the new version:
The checksum (CRC) is now formed correctly . The serial number of the connected OCT encoder is included.
It is detected if the same OCT encoder is no longer connected after switching on.

Description of behavior:

When the checksum (CRC) is created the serial number of the connected OCT encoder nnot correctly included.
As a result, when the checksums (CRC) are compared after switching on, it is not recognized if another OCT encoder has been connected in the meantime.

Background:
A checksum comparison takes place in the inverter and possibly also in the higher-level motion axis
This makes it possible to detect whether another OCT encoder is connected.
The new CRC created after switching on and the CRC previously stored in the device or in the motion axis are compared.

Conditions under which the behavior occurs:

  • Use of an absolute value transmitter Hiperface-DSL (OCT)
  • Check sum comparison after switching on the network
Affected products:
Servo inverter i950 FW
