Description of the behavior:

The safe output SD-Out1 of the i950ES can be wired with various signals. Feedback from the field has shown that not all possible settings work. The error occurs with both settings (positive and negative logic).

The following setting options are affected: 

  • 0x2886:000 "SHom active"- Output 
  • 0x2887:000 "SHom available" - Output
  • 0x28AD:000 "RMS active" - Output
  • 0x28B1:000 "SMS observed" - Output

Conditions under which the behavior occurs:

  • SD-Out1 is parameterized to one of the above signals.

 
Affected products: i950 ES all Safety FW versions
