Improvement of the motor temperature evaluation via PT1000 sensors

Fixed as of:
  • Inverter Drives 8400 TopLine V21.02.00

Behaviour of the new version:
The evaluation procedure of the PT1000 temperature sensor has been fundamentally improved.
Spot checks showed a max. deviation of +-5 Kelvin.

Description of the behaviour:
The motor temperatures measured by the PT1000 have a significant difference to the real temperatures.

What are the effects?
Due to the differing temperature values, inverter-side motor protection measures take effect at the wrong time.

Affected products:
8400 Topline with firmware V17.00.00 up to and including V21.01.00
