Corrected from:
  • Inverter Drives 8400 StateLine V20.00.00
  • Inverter Drives 8400 HighLine V20.00.00
  • Inverter Drives 8400 TopLine V20.00.00
Response of the new version:

The function restriction has been removed. A value of 0x8000 or 0x80000000 at the two inputs returns "TRUE" at the output for the comparison operation (In1 = In2).

What happens?

When using an L_Compare_X function block with comparison function 1 (In1 = In2) and assigning the value 0x8000 to the two inputs nIn1_a and nIn2_a, the bOut output returns "FALSE". This also applies to the L_ComparePhi_X function blocks with an input value of 0x80000000.
