On the 'Safety Parameter List' tab of a 9400 safety module (e.g. MSI - Safety Module SM301), a black box appears instead of the parameter list.

The behaviour can occur when an 'MSI - Safety Module SM30x' is selected in the project tree.

Short-term measures:
Open the EASY Package Manager (e.g. via EASY Navigator).
Delete the packages 'Device module descriptions\9400 Safety modules'.
Reinstall the packages '9400 Safety Modules' from the Lenze server. To do this, click on the <Search> button.
Contact Lenze Service if you are still unable to open the 'Safety parameter list'.
Evaluation / recommendations:
Due to this functional restriction, the safety modules of the 9400 Servo Inverter can no longer be parameterised via the L-force Engineer. An application solution is described under 'Short-term measures'.
