Functional description
When the encoder is initialised, code 491/1…4 shows the status information transmitted by a Hiperface encoder. A maximum of four different error codes is transmitted and also displayed by the encoder. The meaning of the individual error codes can be gathered from the Hiperface data sheet in each case. If less than four error codes are received, the remaining subcodes show the value "0".
This function extension makes it possible to evaluate status messages of Hiperface encoders.
