What happens?
Communication between controller and PLC Designer is aborted.
When does this behaviour occur?
If the data server is used, communication between controller and PLC Designer may be aborted when downloading a project.
Which products are affected?
L-force c300 controller from V3.8
L-force p300 controller from V3.8
Short-term measures/recommendations:
Switch the mains for the controller. Then you can again log in to the controller with the PLC Designer.
Do not use a data server in the PLC project.
Evaluation:
With a data server you can establish a point-to-point connection e.g. to visualise variables of another device. The function restriction occurs if the data server was included in the device tree of the PLC project.
